Glitz Lame'

Glitz Lame'. A woven fabric using flat coloured metal threads to create either the design or the background in the fabric. Lame is also a trade mark for metallic yarns. The word is French for "trimmed with leaves of gold or silver". The shine and glitter of this fabric makes it suitable for evening dress wear, theatrical and dance wear. This fabric has no lining. (Width of fabric is approx. 44" or 113cm)
