Shiny Lame

A woven fabric using flat silver or gold metal threads to create either the design or the background in the fabric. Lame is also a trade mark for metallic yarns. The word is French for "trimmed with leaves of gold or silver". Available in a range of colours. The shine and glitter of this fabric makes it suitable for evening dress wear, theatrical and dance wear. (Width of fabric is approx. 45" or 115cm)
