A woven fabric using flat silver or gold metal threads to create either the design or the background in the fabric. Lame is also a trade mark for metallic yarns. The word is French for "trimmed with leaves of gold or silver". Available in gold and silver only. The shine and glitter of this fabric makes it suitable for evening dress wear, theatrical and dance wear. This fabric has no lining. (Width of fabric is approx. 45" or 115cm)
