Medium-weight plain weave silk / synthetics fabric, characterised by a ribbed effect. It is a raw silk made from Tussah silk. It is quite similar to pongee, but has a more irregular surface, heavier and rougher. End-uses include evening wear, dresses, suits and jackets. 45" wide.
